Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers continued their preparation for their upcoming home open against the Atlanta Falcons. And after a tough road game against Arizona, they rolled out a surprisingly short list of players on the injury list. Tershawn Wharton continued his status on the injury list from a week ago.
But one name of concern was Receiver Xavier Legette who was limited in practice due to a Hamstring issue. It was an issue that was not a result of last week's game, but something that materialized this week. Head coach Dave Canales addressed the injury in his afternoon press conference. "Today the soreness just kind of popped up," Canales said.
Legette has struggled as of late. In the first two games this season, Legette has only garnered 4 receptions for a minuscule total of 8 yards. His performance against the Arizona Cardinals produced a net -2 yards. Legette was unavailable for comment following today's practice.
