Carolina Panthers Injury Report Packed with Promise and Disappointment as Titans Matchup Approaches

Today, the Carolina Panthers, now 1-9 on the season, held their final practice before heading to Nashville for their matchup with the 3-7 Tennessee Titans still looking for ways to fill the void at Guard left by Austin Corbett's return to IR for the remainder of the season. Currently, the most likely options going forward are a mix with Cade Mays and Nash Jensen. However, Panthers head coach Frank Reich remained tight-lipped about his plans for the position this week but expressed confidence in what the team has accomplished this week in practice headed into the mathcup. "Excited about how the guys competed this week and the plan that we have going forward," Reich said.

With seven games remaining, Reich admits there are still key areas he'd like to improve with regard to the offense's lack of production including the Tight Ends gorup which has shown flashes of effectiveness lately. "I think some of the lack of production at Tight End, certainly not the players (fault) - I feel great about that room, it's just been an overall under-performance of the offense where everybody's numbers are gonna be down, so, excited about the opportunity to be able to turn the tables on that," Reich said.

Including Corbett, the team still has 13 players on IR with limited opportunities left to return players this year.
