The Carolina Panthers enter Week-15 trending toward one of the worse records in franchise history. The team's worst regular season record was 2001, where they finished 1–15, worst in the league for that season. The team won the opening game of the season that year but lost each of the remaining 15. The Panthers are currently 1-12 on the season and have yet to solve the passing game riddle which has been the biggest stubling blocks. The previous two games have seen the run-game open up considerably.

The regular season series between these two teams is nearly deadlocked with the Falcons taking the edge 29-28 of the 57 times they've matched up. Atlanta also leads the series 15-13 at Bank of America Stadium.

And the home crown advantage may also be an issue with tickets in the upper bowl sliding down to as low as $14.00 a ticket. Seats in the lower bowl are going for as low as $47.00. But despite all of the up-and-down tragectories the team has taken throughout the season, including the untimely firing of former head coach Frank reich, interim head coach Chris Tabor belives that the remaining games still have a significant purpose for both the coaching staff and the players.

- The Panthers will be without two of their top weapons at Tight end. Ian homas has been

ruled out for Sunday's game. Hayden Hurst has been place on injured reserve after

struggling with the effects of a concussion suffered in Week-10.

- The Panthers run-game has significantly improved over the past two games and will be a

focul point point headed into a game where the weather may significantly effect the

passing game.

- The Panthers defense comes into this week's matchup ranked fourth overall in the NFL

allowing just 298.4 yards per game and 42 touchdowns this season.

- Derrick Brown is the only defensive lineman in the NFL to record 10+ tackles in two

games this season. And his 74 tackles set a franchise record for the most tackles by a

Panthers defensive lineman in a single season.

- The Falcons are still in the hunt for the NFC South so the Panthers have an opportunity to

play spoiler this week with a win over Atlanta.

Buccaneers at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

- Quarterback Desmond Ridder has struggled at times this season and has ball security issues

throwing nine interceptions and fumbling the ball 10 times this year. But he has the ability

to be explosive with his feet as well as his arm. He's thrown for more than 250 yards in four

games this season. His biggest passingperformance this season was the 347-yard he threw

for in the team's loss to the Buccaneers in Week-14.

with seven touchdowns.

- The Falcons 132.2 yards per game is 6th in the NFL this week.

hit in 2023. And with the expected weather and ball security possibly becoming an issue,

Bates will definitely looking to use his ability to force fumbles.

Bates also had two interceptions against the Panthers in Week-1, so Bryce Young will have to account for the whereabouts of Bates at all times.
