Thursday, the Carolina Panthers continued preparations for their upcoming home opener against the Atlanta Falcons. And today there were new names on the injury list. Tershawn Wharton continued his status on the injury list from a week ago. But Hunter Renfrow and Jaycee Horn as well as Xavier Legette, who was limited in practice on Wednesday due to a Hamstring issue, was still listed as limited on Thursday.

It was an issue that was not a result of last week's game, but something that materialized this week. Head coach Dave Canales addressed the injury in his Wednesday afternoon press conference. "Today the soreness just kind of popped up," Canales said.

Legette has struggled as of late. In the first two games this season, Legette has only garnered 4 receptions for a minuscule total of 8 yards. His performance against the Arizona Cardinals produced a net -2 yards.”It’s more on the mental side. I just gotta get out of my head about the situation,” Legette said during the team’s open locker room session.

The Panthers, now 0-2, host the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC as they try to break into the win column for the first time this season.
