NASCAR hands out fines for post-race violations

NASCAR penalized two teams in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series as well as three other league teams for lug-nut violations after last week’s action at ISM Raceway. Each of the teams had a lug-nut that was not properly secured in the post-race inspection.
The Monster Energy Series teams that were penalized were the No. 2 Team Penske Ford driven by Brad Keselowski and the No. 53 Rick Ware Racing Ford driven by JJ Yeley.
NASCAR fined crew chiefs Paul Wolfe and Mike Hillman Sr. $10,000 each.
