Hornets Top Knicks with Balanced Attack | #hornets (VIDEO)

Five Charlotte Hornets scored in double figures, including Malik Monk, who scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to send the New York Knicks to its 10th straight loss at the Spectrum Center on Monday night, 101-92.

"He was big for us in that fourth quarter," said coach James Borrego. "He couldn't make a shot tonight, probably until the fourth quarter and Monk was a big part of that."

Hornets guard Tony Parker finished with with 15 points in tonight's contest.

Willy Hernangomez notched his third double-double of the season scoring 11 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

"It's hard to get a win in the NBA and to get our wins at home," Borrego said. "We just try to do that every time we come out here. Thanks to the fans for coming out and supporting us."

The Hornets bench outscored the Knicks 53-37.

The Knicks (10-39) have lost 23 of 25 games.

"The ball got stagnant, we got stagnant," said Knicks guard Alonzo Trier. "We just didn't get good quality looks and bad shots led out to them running at us down full speed and getting what they wanted made it hard for us on defense."

Charlotte (24-25) has now won five of its last seven games.

"This win is very important," Miles Bridges said. "We don't play as well on the road, that's something we need to fix."
