Carolina Panthers hold annual Fan Fest to the delight of Charlotte faithful

The Carolina Panthers annual Fan Fest presented by Daimler was a sold out affair. Despite the rain, the event which was held at Bank of America Stadium played host to more than 62,000 fans.

Fans were able to see their favorite players and even a few new faces in Charlotte for the first time this season. They were not disappointed.

During the first series of the scrimmage, Cam Newton, fully rested after the team's day off, did not hesitate when he launched a 40-plus yard bomb to Curtis Samuel.

Trai Turner and Gerald McCoy exercised vet days which opened up an opportunity for rookie Dennis Daley to practice with the first team at right guard.

The practice was followed by a colorful fireworks and laser show.
